Welcome to Polka Dots and Swirls!  This blog is for me to dedicate my random thoughts and ideas that come to mind.  Please note that I am a very random person and it will show through this blog.  But enough about that.

My name is Ellen and I am a special education teacher.  I am very creative and I am always doing or creating something.  My biggest project outside of my classroom is my side business.  I am the owner and designer of Sweet Chocolate Hair Bows.  Be sure to check it out and let me know how you found me.

I plan to keep up with this blog as much as possible.  Seeing as I am on vacation from school right now, I am sure I will be on almost everyday.  However, I am getting ready for a move, so there may be a week or two where I will not be on.

I love to surf the web and I tend to come across many random things.  Those are most likely the things I will be posting.  Feel free to comment on my randomness!
