Been A While

So I know it has been a while.  I was in the process of moving and then starting a new job.  By the way, I am loving my new job!  I am now a resource teacher at one of the local elementary schools.  I have been super busy trying to get organized and plan for the kiddos.

I have been doing a lot of reading and searching online for ideas that are fun and engaging for the students.  I will be sure to start sharing what I find.

I came across this cool craft idea that would make a great gift.  I have yet to try it out, but I am very excited to do so.  If you have done this, please let me know how it turned out.

New Year's Resolution

As I sit here on New Year's Eve Day, I am watching everyone on Facebook put their resolutions as their status. Then I started to wonder what mine should be.  So many people make a resolution, but by February, most people have broken it.  I wonder if I make one and write it down, if it will help me keep mine.  Of course I want the usual stuff.  I want to lose weight and eat better.  I want to be a nicer person then I already am.  Etc, etc, etc.

Do you have a good resolution for next year?  The saddest part about all this is that as I am writing this post, I am thinking about baking cupcakes.  I am not even gonna make it to the new year with my resolution.  LOL.  I wish you and your family a safe and Happy New Year!

Poached Eggs??

So my grandfather used to make poached eggs everytime I came to visit.  Today I was wondering how I can make poached eggs.  I wondered if I needed a special egg poacher or if I could really do it without an egg poacher.  So here is what I came up with.  If you have an egg poacher, please let me know which one.  Maybe I need to look into purchasing one.
